Card #3 for the box....

This is a regular size card base, I just folded the top flap back at 2 1/8". There is a sentiment inside, that I stamped sideways, so it didn't show until the card was opened. The stamps and Designers Series Paper were the SALE-A-Bration 2015 items.

Card for Box

This is the second of 4 designed cards I made to go into the box I was working on the other. I'll show you the box, when I get all the cards posted. Still deciding how I want to finish off the box embellishments.

Quick little card

I made a box to hold some cards in, today. I still need to fine tune it, and, then, I'll post a picture of it. This is one of the cards I made to go into it. This card only took me about 7 minutes to make!

I used the SALE-A-BRATION Designers Series Paper for the card base, and one of the FREE Stamp Sets for the sentiment. The Coastal Cabana ribbon was a FREE SALE-A-BRATION item, too. I just love that little tag on the front of the card! And, that single, sweet little flower punch, with the rhinestone! I'm a happy stamper, with this card!

Wedding Mini Album and matching card

I created this mini album and matching card/envelope this afternoon. I can't believe I got them done in a little over 2 hours!!! Those creative juices were flowin' - or maybe it was the Valerian Root! LOL It was so smoky and windy, I had to do something to get the weather off my mind. I'm so happy with the way these both turned out. I did add rhinestones to the swirlies on the card, after I took the picture. Sometimes, after I take a picture, I can critique stuff better--seeing it from a different aspect.
I used all Stampin' Up! products to make these! L.O.V.E.

I took the journaling/photo spots out of the little pocket here, so you can see. I just love to make these. You'll see these in my ::::ETSY SHOP:: soon!

Sunburst Technique Card

I had fun 'playing' this afternoon...nothing like a little stress therapy! I tried a technique I hadn't done before, I think it's called the sunburst technique. It was easy, and, a great way to use Designer Series Paper! I am using the retired Sale-A-Bration paper---I got a TON of it FREE!!!

Which card to you like better???
The one with more distressing *below* or the top card, with less distressing around the starburst.

I will definitely make more of these, and, probably

have my card class ladies try their hand at it, too.

My junk card!

The other day, I was at the little house, dropping off a few boxes of things I've been working on at home, and, had the urge to CREATE something! I had just bought some aluminum tape at Home Depot and was anxious to try it out for cardmaking.
L.O.V.E. that stuff!!! So easy to work with and what a WOW!
I knew it would look great on a masculine card, so, I started with the black base. As I was cutting the black cardstock with my tabletop cutter, there was a scrap piece of chipboard laying there....a leftover from a hurried project the other day....my mind starting spinning! It was a perfect size for what I was thinking! I used my Big Shot *I ♥ my BIG SHOT* to diecut the 4 and U. BUT FIRST, I taped the aluminum foil to a 2" strip of cardstock, then, I ran it through the Chevron Embossing Folder. I LOVE the way it looks and FEELS!! I ended up dressing the card up a bit with a couple strips of red that was punched with the Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border punch. I tucked it up under the tape piece, just so you could see the tiny scallops.
A tiny red bow, and some leftover silver stars and it was done! I suppose this card could be male or female, Valentine or everyday! Now, I will use the leftover pieces from the 4 and U diecuts to make ANOTHER card! LOL
I hope this inspires you to put your 'thinking cap' on to make a "JUNK" card, too!

50th Birthday Card for my brother

Man, this was tough! My brother hates his birthday, and, always 'hibernates' on his birthday. My other brother and I wanted to do something for a surprise birthday, this year, for his 50th, but, were kinda scared to! LOL Anyway, he is going on a trip to Mexico for his birthday this year, and I needed to get a card for him ahead of time....This is what I came up with...

I popped everything up with dimensionals.

I stamped the inside and used some DSP, from the front, also.

Can you see that I put Crystal Effect on the 50?

Afterthought: it would have been nice to have embossed that and then, colored in the numbers. Next time! LOL

Well, I am outta here. My downline, Jennifer, gifted me with 53 pounds of golden delicious she picked out of a tree for me, early this morning! LOL So, I am off to check my applesauce in the crockpot...tomorrow will be more applesauce, and, some apple pies for the freezer! Are these apples ever delicious!!! We've had a BUMPER crop of apples in our area this year! I don't recall, in all of the 29 years that we've lived here, of an apple crop like this. AWESOME!!!
