Wedding Mini Album and matching card

I created this mini album and matching card/envelope this afternoon. I can't believe I got them done in a little over 2 hours!!! Those creative juices were flowin' - or maybe it was the Valerian Root! LOL It was so smoky and windy, I had to do something to get the weather off my mind. I'm so happy with the way these both turned out. I did add rhinestones to the swirlies on the card, after I took the picture. Sometimes, after I take a picture, I can critique stuff better--seeing it from a different aspect.
I used all Stampin' Up! products to make these! L.O.V.E.

Patriotic Card and a GIVEAWAY!

I did this card for the MY STAMPIN' BEST FRIEND challenge. Perfect for this time of year!

I used some of the 2013-2014 Designer Series Paper Pack paper *love the new designs*, I got FOUR of the new paper packs for 1/2 off for recruiting in May, PLUS, my Demonstrator discount!!! I also used SILVER GLIMMER paper, that I got FREE during SALE-A-BRATION. The star is embossed with white embossing powder, it's from a stamp set called, SIMPLY STARS....got that FREE at the Salt Lake City Regional in April, and the 'celebrate' is from a FREE Hostess set in the brand new catalog!!! I also used one of the new Candy Dots/Brad, in Real Red, from the brights collection.

Happy Fathers Day to my hubby!

Our boys are both grown, so, I like to do something special for hubby on Fathers Day. One of the boys NEVER fails to call and send a card, and, the other one, well, let's just say 'they are as different as night and day'! LOL I have been so anxious to make this for hubby, and, can't wait to give it to him. He is out metal detecting a new site with a buddy today. He will be ready for a 'cold one', when he gets home, so, he will get it then!

I used MM pretzels *that was a new one on me*, Pistachios, unshelled Sunflower Seeds, dry roasted peanuts, chocolate covered raisins, and MGD *Miller Genuine Draft*---LOL I think he will be surprised! And, I'm sure he will say his usual..."did you make that?" LOL All the papers and punches are Stampin' UP!, as well as the stamp sets. I've been on a kick of using his old Wrangler jeans, lately(And, I have a T.O.N of 'em)....just LOVE the look of that old, soft denim. If you have any questions, just shoot me an email!
Our own fathers have passed on, but, I will still say 'Happy Fathers Day' Dad!

Patriotic Denim Banner

I just listed this banner on my ETSY shop! Hoping I can sell a few for some 2013 Stampin' Up!CONVENTION spending money!!

I made this out of hubbys old work pants....I L.O.V.E denim!! I used my BIG SHOT...I ♥ my BIG SHOT! Lots going on with this awesome banner! It took quite awhile to diecut and fabricate all the little bits and pieces, but, it was well worth it. I think it turned out fantastic!
It would be AWESOME if it went to YOUR house! *just sayin'*

Stamp tip....

...for lack of what else to call it!
This is what I do when I mount my 'clear mount' stamp sets.
I keep the part that the stamps were removed from. I take the protective layer off the back of the red liner, and it will stick to the inside of the stamp case. That way it will house my stamps, and, also I will know if one is missing.

Sunburst Technique Card

I had fun 'playing' this afternoon...nothing like a little stress therapy! I tried a technique I hadn't done before, I think it's called the sunburst technique. It was easy, and, a great way to use Designer Series Paper! I am using the retired Sale-A-Bration paper---I got a TON of it FREE!!!

Which card to you like better???
The one with more distressing *below* or the top card, with less distressing around the starburst.

I will definitely make more of these, and, probably

have my card class ladies try their hand at it, too.
