No crafts today....

We went on a wood cutting trip last weekend. I took these pictures....it was a very devastated area, and, almost made me sick to my stomach. After living in the "ALPS of Arizona" for 29 years, it hurts... There are other posts about this fire, with pictures, if you look on the right sidebar, under labels. Thanks for your visit!

Oh, woe is me! I have been having computer issues!
Actually, this started in February, when I had my favorite Tech guy take the big {one year old} home computer to work on. HE STILL HAS IT and it's becoming a REAL issue!
Now, my laptop has been giving me funny messages
(I hate that 'internet explorer has stopped working' thingy!)
So, I am using hubbys laptop, thankfully, I talked him into bringing it home from the trailer!
So, I am 'stranded' for the moment...........
I'll be back....I guess the upside is that I've got time to craft! LOL

Welcome to Clifton, Arizona!

After two months of unemployment, hubby got called to work--hopefully...it's kind of a jacked-up mess! LOL We decided to move the trailer to Clifton, Sunday, the 9th, to the spot that was being held for us since May! We've been parked in this place several times before, through the years. Definitely not much to be desired!
The empty spot next to us, is reserved for our son. Thank goodness, it's someone we will know. The trailers are a WEE bit close!
But, hey, at least I have access to the clothesline! LOL
ahhhh....life is good! HA!
AND,
where there's a will,
there's a way!
At least I have room to CRAFT! hehehe
Oh, and there is my blender that I planned on EMBELLISHING! ROFL
See it, on the counter!?
That thing is about 36 years old! Hubby got it for Christmas for me, one year. It didn''t take long before he figured out NOT to get me appliances for a gift! HA!

On second thought, mabye the Duct Tape is enough embellishing??
Whatcha think???
(If you don't know what the blender embellishing is all about,
check out this Stampin' Up! video!

Freshly Made Sketch #51

My first Freshly Made Sketch.
I also challenged my downline with this sketch.

Here is card #1.
And, #1 dressed up a bit....
I had pieces of the Howlstooth & Scaringbone Designer Series Paper left, Item #126906, Price: $10.95,
so, I flipped them and made another cute card, with the same sketch.

More leftover bits and pieces were used to decorate the inside of the card. I used the Naturals White Cardstock to make these cards. It gives them a much sturdier base, than the Whisper White.
I had the little graphics already stamped and cut out--a whole bag full! LOL
LOVE it when I have something to 'fussy' cut! hehehe
And, this stamp set is growing on me!
Ghoulish Googlies Wood-Mount Bundle 129852  Price: $20.95
Purchase the Googly Ghouls Stamp Set and
Ghoulish Googlies Designer Printed Kit together.
Priced to save you 15%! LOVE THAT!

LOVE this card!

I saw this on my Stampin' Up! only website, Stampin' Connection--where we have access to over 257,000 samples, at the moment.
I just had to make some for myself! LOVE them!
Since I also love to crochet this Doily Background stamp is one of my FAVORITES! I stamped and embossed it on vellum, which I had never done before. Then, I got to 'fussy-cut' them out...another thing that I enjoy doing. I made extras of this
, with several different sayings, too...it's that multiple thing, ya know!? LOL
I had fun trying something different with the butterflies.
I diecut them out of some 'junk' chipboard I had laying around.
Then, I ran through an embossing folder, with my BIG SHOT.
Then, I added some glue with our 2-way glue pen, and,
sprinkled them with dazzling diamond.
What a very nice look!
I used our paper flowers for the very first time, also. And, I LOVE those vintage brads!
If YOU would like one of these cards,
leave me a comment, and, I will put your name in a drawing.
The winner will get this card mailed out to you!

A sweet Fall Gift!

Look at the sweet gift, my downline, Jennifer, gave me this week!
When we were in Salt Lake City, for the Stampin' Up! convention, they gave us a pack of chocolate cover sunflower seeds. I had never had them before, and, FELL IN LOVE with them!
Well, she went hunting for them--paying WAY too much for shipping to HOT Arizona--but, she found some!
And, LOOK at the cute Mason jar she dressed up for them!

Even the back side!

And, LOOK at this little guys face! He even has hair!!
LOVE IT! And, YES! She does spoil me!
She used the new Stampin' Up! Autumn Accents BIGZ die, item #127812, for the BIG SHOT, and, the co-ordinating stamp set, Wonder Fall, item #128084.
I hope someone spoiled YOU this weekend, or, that YOU got to spoil someone! That's always such a FUN thing to do!
And, don't forget about the extension on the HALLOWEEN sign-up special!
