....picking up the pieces

Well, I am still here...it's been a rough summer.
My mom had some surgery May 27, got well, and a few days after I left her, after staying for 8 days, she came down with pneumonia and lung issues. She had a very hard time from June 14, until July 14, when she left us for a better place.
I am heartbroken.
I did not realize that she was my best friend, until she was gone. We did so much together the past 7 years, since my dad died.
I am taking baby steps to move forward. Some days are good, and, some days are still so sad....
Anyway, I'm trying to pick my Stampin' Up! business back up to help me through all of this. Trying to find 'normal'.
